From: Sean Mize
To: Clients of Sean Mize:
Hi, Sean Mize here . . . .
Last winter season I skiied 75 days.
Yesterday I spent most of the day helping my wife in the garden and doing some metal work.
yes, I worked a few hours too - some before my wife awoke.
Sometimes I work from 5 AM till 10 AM.
Sometimes I start at 8 PM and work till Midnight.
And yes, some days I work 12 hours.
Many days I work an hour.
I'm not bragging.
It hasn't always been this way.
When I started out, I worked 40-50 hours a week, writing articles daily for maybe 6 hours, then 2 hours for posting, then some time for reading a few emails (when my list was only 500 subscribers I didn't get as much email as I do now)
Now I work 15-20 hours a week, sometimes less.
The funny thing is, I find that I only do about 5 things in my business:
1) Write letters like this to invite people like you to come to my live trainings, for which I charge a nomimal price
2) Do about 1-2 hours of live training per week
3) Write a daily engagement, interactional, or training email or blog post most days
4) Have my squeeze page featured in many, many different websites all around the world, so people become subscribers so they can read my weekly letter like this one each week, plus read all the emails I send.
How does that contrast to your business?
When I talk with folks who are working 30-40 hours a week trying like crazy to build up their business, these are the things people tell me they are doing each day:
1) posting to facebook
2) watching youtubes to learn things
3) write maybe 1 blog post per week
4) buying training to learn how to do 100 things
5) trying to figure out their autoresponder
6) trying to figure out how to make wp work
7) reading posts in linkedin, looking for leads
8) reading email
9) reading texts
I could go on and on.
And I don't know if that in any way resembles your day.
But what is really frustrating to me as a coach, is that I rarely see folks working on the things I work on.
I rarely see them doing the things I do.
Or if I do, they are a very small part of their business.
Nearly ALL of my business is the 4 things I mentioned above, except I do answer most emails that come in.
Some days. (Ok, I cheat - I pay some one to screen my emails before I see them - but you don't need to do that until you have money coming in, or pay your teenager $10 a day to do it)
I think, I wonder what would happen if all my clients closed EVERYTHING they do and JUST did the 4 things I do each day.
That's it.
You see, I believe that those 4 things are ALL it takes to make $100k a year.
I really believe that.
I believe that all the other things are just distractions.
They hold you back.
They keep you unsuccessful, working for the MAN (or the WOMAN ha ha)
Seriously, though, the things you are working on 90% of the time are stopping you from building a real business.
Think about this, work backwards:
what does it take to make money online?
Answer: someone has to buy what you sell
What has to happen for someone to buy what you sell
Answer: you have to have something to sell
What has to happen to have something to sell?
Answer: you have to create it
EVERY WEEK.
I see people taking a year to make a $10 product.
Sure, take a year to create an automobile for $30,000
But a $10 product?
That's like selling lemonade when you were a kid.
Set up a stand, ask mom for lemons, and mix it up.
$10 product = 1 hour of work.
Period.
I ask clients to make a 1 hour training and 3 weeks later they are perfecting it, whatever that means.
Look, if a client doesn't like my ums and ahs, let them go hire some smooth talker who may or may not know what I know (and if they know more, that client should be learning from them anyhow)
Here's the thing, my business grosses about $35k a month.
Month in, month out.
I don't take all it home, for sure.
But I do it primarily with the 4 things I do each day that I work.
If you are going to have a business that makes $100k a year, you MUST create products and sell them.
And you MUST attract prospects to your squeeze page so you have someone to sell them to.
And you MUST send them a daily email so they trust you.
Period.
Look, I know it sounds simple.
Sometimes I might wish it were harder.
Because then folks would say, oh, okay, if I do this complicated 100 step sequence, I can make a living.
But it's not.
It's 4 steps.
Period.
I so dearly wish folks would embrace that.
Now, I am really excited about something I am doing live, right before the long weekend so you have lots of time to think about what I teach you.
On Thursday, July 30th at 1 PM ET I am going to teach the most powerful, life changing message I believe I've ever taught.
I am going to teach you HOW to do the 4 things you must do EVERY DAY to make $100k.
And yes, I am going to "get on your case" about doing all the things you shouldn't be doing.
And I am going to get into a surprise topic that may shock you, anger you, embolden you, and it might even change your life.
And please let me say this:
If you are afraid that once you hear this, and you can't take it out of your ears, and it might mean you only have to work 15 hours a week to make $100k each year
and you are afraid of working so little -
Then, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't come to this live training.
Because it might ruin you.
Thursday, June 30th at 1 PM ET.
I could charge $1000 for this call and it would be worth every penny.
But for 24 hours, I am using warrior plus pricing:
